FC-D31P/S Distribution Terminal Unit (DTU)

Overview

FC-D31P/S is an intelligent distributed DTU within Friendcom's LV & MV Distribution product line. Utilizing IEC 61850 + GOOSE peer-to-peer communication, it shares real-time status data across neighboring switches and uses dedicated algorithms to deliver rapid fault location, isolation, and automatic service restoration (FDIR) for non-faulted sections. Compatible with overhead lines, cable networks, circuit breakers, and load switches, the FC-D31P/S operates fully autonomously without requiring master station control—making it an ideal solution for ultra-reliable power distribution networks.
