The RF Module FC-706-JD is a wireless data transmission module specially designed for the smart metering project. The water meter, gas meter, heat meter are connected with the surrounding electric meters through wireless means, and then communicate with the remote master station through the mature wireless micro-power self-organizing network meter reading system.
FC-706-JD currently uses active reporting for communication. It does not network itself, and reports the sampling information to the meter network, and transmits it upward through the meter network. After the module works normally, it actively reports data three times a day. The module is in sleep mode most of the time, and will be in receiving mode when setting parameters and wireless upgrading, the working current is very small, and the power consumption is very low. It is a very good solution for remote meter reading with battery powered.
The FC-706-JD module collects water consumption information through Hall devices, and then wirelessly transmits the water consumption information to the electric meter. The electric meter reports to the concentrator through the micro-power wireless network, and then to the main station server.
